Life is full of one door closing and another door opening.

Clay Aiken has moved beyond American Idol and it's time for the fans to do the same. Time to look forward, and not back. So, good bye to American Idol, good bye to RCA/19eieio. Clay, Decca and Dancing Bananas

Yesterday Clay Aiken announced on his official site that he had signed with Universal/Decca and to look for new music from him in early 2010.

That news was what the Clay Nation has been waiting for and the celebrating began. It's been a while since I've seen this many smiley faces or dancing bananas on Clay message boards.

Last night on the Clay Aiken fan boards it was party time.

Six years ago I never imagined that falling in love with a nerdy guy who had an unbelievable voice would lead me into learning so much about so many different areas. From the music business, to autism, to the children of Uganda called “night commuters”, to the world of Broadway and now to the world of publishing.
