Rock Star Supernova
Last night on Rock Star Supernova they showed some clips of interviews with the contestants. Dilana sort of screwed up with her interview and said some things about other contestants she shouldn't have. Dave Navarro called her on it.
He then got to talking about how they all have targets on their backs when it comes to the press and, referring to his own problems at the moment, he said his target was pretty big. The other three guys, Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted, and Gilby Clarke agreed with him about all being targets.
As soon as the radio stations start playing Clay Aiken's new single it won't be too surprising if some of the shock jock DJs use Clay for target practice.
So forewarned is forearmed. Be prepared and develop a think skin and try not to let it get to you. If Clay can ignore it so can we.

You're right. They will. Up theirs!
I have a feeling there is going to be less criticism this time. I am already seeing that. I know a dj in my city has praised Clay's voice recently, when before he had nothing but criticism for him.
Sounds like a better plan then to give the haters the time of day.
I have to believe TC has a plan. Some of things written and said have been just plain cruel. I have already developed that thick skin.
Ignore the negative and praise the positive. Make it a rule!
The haters will be doing their dirty work, regardless. But since there aren't that many of them, unless they constantly change their email addy and style of writing, others will soon catch on to them. That's why it's important for us not to react.
IMO, Clay has earned the respect of many who may previously not been favorable to him. He has been through a lot of crap and continues to ignore it and hold his head high. That takes a strong constitution and guts! Clay has both!
It's always been my position to ignore the negative and praise the positive.
The haters will handle the negative for us.
