I LOVE IT!!!! LOVE IT!!!! Those pictures and vids just make my heart go pitty-pat...
The whole JBT concert was so.much.fun...but the Elvis medley was my absolute favorite.
I would be ecstatic if "Suspicious Minds" was on the new CD.
Thanks, truth...those were great.
Now that was a Hot August Night if there ever was one. Literally and figuratively. :)
The Elvis medley was my favorite too.
A Depends moment (because my panties melted)
Hot August Night - I would LOVE to hear Clay sing that song of Neil Diamonds!!
In the meanwhile, thanks for the clips.
Lord, I love that man.
"Hello Treeeeeee People"
I played that album so many times I wore it out. (Wore out my first Measure of a Man too.)
I bought the CD version but it's not an exact replica. Sat in the car with the volume cranked listening to it.
Hot August Night was recorded live at the Greek Theater on Aug. 24, 1972.
It was a sold out performance (4500) plus about 500 more who couldn't get tickets and climbed the surrounding trees to see. Neil yelled out, Hello Treeeeee People and said he was singing for them too.
There's something about the way Neil yells out on the album "Hello Treeeee People" and the roar that follows that has stuck in my head.
This is just sad. Elvis Presley - 2 months before his death - singing "Unchained Melody"

And then from 1971 - "Suspicious Minds"...Hurry Clay!!

I know it's a pain to copy and paste the url, but it's so worth it to realize just how amazing Clay Aiken really is.
Good Lord...he is so hot in that picture!!!

I love ,love ,love that picture too...I had him sign that when I had my meet and greet in Kettering...He paused when I handed it to him...I think he was going to say something but didn't..If I had been thinking and/or speaking intelligently at that moment I should have asked him what he thought. tasapio did a stunning job of catching the guh! of the man! :)
This is a great blog, ty
Tasapio is a great photographer.
She is an excellent photographer. I actually went online and bought a bunch of her photos. I'd never be close enough nor calm enough to ever get pictures like hers...
