Sorry Charlie!

It's been a good year to be a Clay Aiken fan. However, that just fries some who would like nothing better than to see Clay disappear. The naysayers out there want to throw a bucket of water on any fan having fun with this years happenings in Clay Nation. Like I said, Sorry Charlie!

This year started off with Clay making his Broadway debut as Sir Robin in the Tony award winning Spamalot.

While performing in 8 shows a week, Clay was also in the studio recording his new album On My Way Here. We had lots of interviews and video of him in the studio, then more when promotion for the album took place.

Someone leaked Clay's news about his impending fatherhood at the end of May and boy did the negative Nancys and Neds have fun with that. They just couldn't stand it that a lot of fans were thrilled to hear his long time wish to be a father was going to come true.

Then in early June Clay Aiken sang Sarah at the annual Ford’s Theater Gala for the President and First Lady.

Late June, early July saw Clay in Somalia and Kenya in his role as Ambassador for UNICEF.

With the arrival of August, along came the birth of Parker Foster Aiken. Two hours after Jaymes gave birth Clay was on his blog telling his fans that both mama and baby were fine and baby Parker was as loud as his Daddy.

Next we find out that Clay Aiken is one of the celebrities who will be roasting Matt Lauer at the annual Friar's Club roast in October.

That brings us to tomorrow when Clay reprises his role as Sir Robin in Spamalot at the Shubert Theatre in New York City.

There is more good stuff on the schedule. Clay will be appearing with Paula Deen September 27th on Paula's Party. There is a Champion of Change gala scheduled in Raleigh on October 18th and come January '09 another Golfing for Inclusion event.

All in all it's been a good year to be a fan of Clay Aiken. So sorry Charlie, we're having lots of fun.

Yea, I heard his career was over. Doesn't look like it to me.
Clay has had a busy year and we have been right there with him.

The more the negative Nellies and Neds spew their crap, the stupider and stupider they look when Clay Aiken reaches a new event or a new "GRAIL" in his life.

Sorry, Charlie. Clay's here to stay.

Clay Aiken finished? Don't think so. He's still in the beginning stages of his career. Of course, the clueless with NOTHING to do, have to say something when Clay is doing project after project.

Clay Aiken is a star and a few jealous idiots think they can tell lies and have an impact. Sorry, we're not buying it.

I'm very excited about Clay Aiken's return to Broadway at the show's request to reprise his earlier role. It's an honor.

Something tells me Clay Aiken is laughing all the way to the bank. While celebrity stalker wannabe's hole up in their basement and type out fictional blogs, real men get out there and contribute to the world. Sorry Charlie!! The fandom is too smart for you now.

Funny thing about Clay. Some dumber than dirt fools keep pronouncing Clay Aiken's career DOA. They wish. Clay is a man of his own mind. He does what he wants when he wants and doesn't pander to gossip/lies, hate blogs or the "clueless" who know nothing about him.

Yep, Clay Aiken just keeps on keeping on. Such a shame for the idiots who are so delusional that they think they know what he is doing or going to do.

Break a leg Clay!!

Truer words have not been spoken. Clay's career will end when Clay chooses for it to end and I don't think that will be anytime soon! If we just listen to him instead of the naysayers, we'll all be fine as we go along on his ride.

I think it has been a great year for Clay and I am so happy for him. He has been treated well by the Broadway Community and he really enjoyed his first run in Spamalot and seems totally thrilled to be returning. He put out his greatest album yet; I love it! He welcomed the most important person in the world to him into his life and I couldn't be happier for him. There is a lot more ahead for Clay Aiken and I personally cannot wait.

Hey Charlie, have you ever heard of something called "overkill". Even the average shmoe sees that all this hate is not kosher. It's coming back at you right between the eyes.

I am just so thrilled after the closing night of Spamalot! I just got home from NY and had a wonderful time. I am so glad I got a chance to catch Clay's last show. I also got a chance to see Reed Kelly in person. He certainly is a handsome fellow. I guess I am happy for Clay if he is happy. God bless them both. The crowd was incredible too. Everyone had a roaring good time! Certainly a night to remember.
