Clay Aiken - Good Stuff

Another Christmas has come and gone. Whether you celebrate the day or not, hope it was a good one for all.

Now for some good stuff.

The Christmas in the Heartland tour ended Dec. 22nd and Clay left the next day to spend Christmas in Mexico working with UNICEF. His hope of raising $100,000.00 by the end of the year is half way there and is currently at 50% of the target amount, $ 50,300.00. Here's the link for the donation page. Clay's Merry Christmas With Love album is still ranking at the top of the holiday charts and came in at #4 for the Top Ten Christmas CDs of the last 20 years. Christmas Day, the Capitol One Holiday On Ice skating special aired and a check of the Amazon ranking for his CDs show a huge jump as of this morning.

#333 Merry Christmas With Love up from #744
#1791 A Thousand Different Ways up from #2539
#2287 Measure of a Man up from #11,064

His Broadway debut as Sir Robin in Spamalot is January 18th. It was fun to see the Spamalot commercials announcing his debut aired outside the tri-state area during the skating show.

TR -- The REAL Clay Aiken is more than just a talented entertainer. He's also a dedicated and humble humanitarian who makes me want to be a better person. I thought the skating show was terrific! And he'll premiere in Spamalot in just 3 short weeks. LOTS of good stuff!

I'm really, really looking forward to all the good stuff coming up in January. As for Clay Aiken on the figure skating Christmas special ...Breathtaking. I'm looking forward to all the reports from the fans going to see Spamalot over the next few months and I still crack up when I think of Clay selling out a freaking train from NC to NY the night of his Broadway debut.
