Truth Rules

A blog for fans of Clay Aiken. It may take a while but in the end, truth will win out over lies. Keep it clean, no threats ... and if I don't like what you say I own the delete key.

Use Your Voice

Cyberspace libel and defamation are hiding under the guise of freedom of speech. Create lies, post them to a blog and transmit them worldwide with the click of a button. Cyber stalking? Cyber harrassment? Had enough? Use your voice. Let your senators and congressmen know you want it stopped.

I plan to send a letter not only to my senator and congressman, but also to my newly-elected Governor - Eliot Spitzer - Mr. Spitzer was the Attorney General that spearheaded the Payola lawsuits against both the record companies AND the radio stations, so I bet he'd love to get his hands on some meaty legislation that he could pass here in NY State!!

Truth, great idea. I'm not American, else I'd be right onto it.

We have stronger internet laws in NZ, and other countries do too. But we have no control over what originates offshore. So unless governments world wide get tough on this kind of crap, nothing will change.

Go for it Clay fans.

I have sent letters to my congressman and senator regarding the need for legistation for cyper harrassment. I don't know if it will do any good, but I'll keep trying. I think it is a serious situation and it needs to stop.
