Always and Forever

Four years ago today a young man from Raleigh, NC walked into our living rooms and opened his mouth to sing these words:

"Take time to tell me you really care"

Little did he know that four years later thousands and thousands of us would be doing just that. Taking time to tell him we really do care - about him.

"and we'll share tomorrow together"

Nor could he know then that we would be sharing our tomorrows with him. Going to his concerts, waiting on lines for tickets to his TV appearances, writing our good wishes for him and to him on message boards, applauding his humanitarian efforts, supporting his charity, laughing at his snarky sense of humor, watching him grow from geeky boy to sexy man, all the while mesmerized by that voice of his that sounds like no other.

"I'll always Love You...Forever"

Little did he know how prophetic these words would be. Or how many of us would be saying that to him.

Yes Clay, those of us who know who you really are do love you. And I think you've finally realized that we are going to continue sharing our tomorrows with you for a very long time.

Those words have indeed proven to be prophetic. Four years? Wow. It's been an amazing four years with it's ups and downs and surprises along the way but I wouldn't change them for anything. I have made some of the most incredible friends because of this journey. I have travelled to places I would never have considered to previously and for that I am grateful. What I am most grateful for is that Clay continues to be in our lives bringing us such joy. I still can't figure out how I can love a total stranger like I do, but I do and I am with him forever and always wherever God's path might lead him. Thanks Clay, for everything!

Great blog! I am not going anywhere, and will be here for Clay until he tells me otherwise. No one and I mean no one will ever take away the joy he brings me.

Loved your blog. It's been 4 mostly great years. The bond between Clay and Clay Nation cannot be broken by haters and other underhanded individuals. I think we were grossly underestimated.

He has my tomorrows and the next days and the next days and the next life. Clay has given so much that I now have memories to last 10 lifetimes and, hopefully, enough Clack.

I was mesmerized from the first moment I saw him. And then he sang, and I lost my heart to him forever.

Nope, never going anywhere unless it's to see him.

Happy Anniversary to Claynation!!

Thank you, Clay, for just being you!!!

Wow 4 years! I honestly don't believe that it has been that long. It has just flown by. We've had our good times and our bad but I wouldn't give them up for anything. I've made incredible friends and travelled to some wonderful places because of this fandom and because of Clay.

(((Clay))) thank you for the joy you've brought to my life and may God continue to watch over you as you walk your path of life. I'll be here for as long as you want us to be.

Excellent blog! I can't believe it has been four years! So much excitment and fun, just when I thought life was going to settle into a boring routine. Thank you, Clay and thank you, Truth Rules, for saying it so well.

Darn it all! If this man didn't sing so wonderful, look so magnificent and brings so much joy into my life, it would be easy to run away. But like with all people and things we love...we wouldn't, couldn't and shouldn't. Clay is buried into my heart, and is a part of me.

They can yank all they want, I didn't even feel it or care this time.

Always and forever, Clay!

Cannot believe it's been four years since my mouth fell open when I heard that voice. My love for the voice turned into love for the man as I learned more about him, admired his character and loved his personality! I'm so happy I "get" Clay. I feel so sorry for those poor unfortunate souls who do not.

Well he had me at take too. I wish I'd have been internet savy enough to have found the boards at the beginning. I've been making up for lost time since then. Thanks for a great blog!
