Clay, Kelly & Ruben
I wasn't going to blog till after the 4th but this is too good to pass up. Three of my favorite stars...all together in the same place. Clay and Ruben at Kelly's Raleigh concert. Friends! Enjoying each others company. Respecting each other. Supporting each other.
How I wish that certain factions within the three fan groups would follow their lead and learn to get along. Fan life would be so much more pleasant without all the infighting that goes on.

The waitress said Clay loved to eat there, and he took the two of them out to eat last night. I hate like crazy that I was on the total opposite side of Clay tonight (we were in almost identical seats, just in opposite sections), at least I knew I was breathing the same hot, sweaty air as he was, and that he was doing fine and enjoying a night out with friends. I love seeing his smiling face in that picture, and I'm glad that he was there tonight to support his friend.

Since they were together Sunday and Monday it's probably safe to assume they spent the night with Clay at his house. So yeah, groucho's head must be doing a 360. I do love it.
I figured Kelly would fly up to NC from her last FL show to see Clay so that didn't surprise me. Seeing Ruben there too did, in a good way.
I love that they are all still good friends.
Just a quick FYI:
That guy in the picture (sitting next to Clay) was a venue security guy. He had to go over and sit there when the crowd was surrounding Clay.
When the show started, he moved off to the side.

I have always thought it was interesting that people continued to hate on the idea of these guys being friends and they (Rube, Clay and Kelly) just went about their friendship.
Kind of sad to think how much time is wasted on hate, isn't it?

Truth Is: Clay could give a flippin frog's ass about JP. Clay steps out with his (famous) friends In Raleigh looking like he's having a great time. He looked adorable. The fans love him. Clay ain't going nowhere but back on TV, radio and in magazines promoting his new CD. Wonder if the security guy sitting next to Clay knows that he's also gay??? JP and his minions are stupid pathetic idiots. Get a life you lonesome loser.
Clay thought he was just going to have a good time enjoying Kelly's concert with Rube.
I wonder if he has any idea how much it meant to all of us to see him so relaxed, happy and doing the very thing he said he missed the most and that's hanging with his friends.

I was all giddy last night lurking at the Phonecert on the CB and when the pic came up of Clay and his smiley face I just melted.
The two boys enjoying Kelly's concert, having dinner together and just sharing time was a very nice "in your face" to the swamp and we didn't have to do a thing.
Amazing night last night. I loved seeing the new photos of Rube. Forgot how much I loved seeing him and Clay together. I'm very fond of Kel too and was extremely glad the three of them got to spend some time together again.

I thought I saw a glimpse of Groucho in one of the photo's. He's bent over and puking. It looks like he's three rows back of Clay and entourage.
Truth - thanks for the new blog - I'm here in the south on vacation - just about 2 hours away from Raleigh and was SO tempted to drive there for the show last night but changed my mind at the last minute (darling husband would have had a canary if I did it in the middle of our vacation, lol).
I'm glad that Clay is visiting with both Kelly AND Ruben - I can almost imagine Groucho's head about to explode!! Gotta love that they are showing support and love for each other and spending time together!
I'll be back in a few days and maybe then I can remember my dang log-in and password!
