Clay Nation - the silent majority speaks out
There's a rule on all the Clay Aiken message boards about not discussing other boards or posters. What this has done is allow those with nefarious intentions to get away with spreading lies about Clay in safety because no one can call them out and there has been no where any of us who care about him could gather and share what we knew about these people.
All that changed when Chexxxy started her board. You bet your ass we know who these liars and gossip mongers are. And you know what? They are scared silly now. So they are trying their damnedest to shift the focus onto Chexxxy to save their own hides.
Guess what - it is not going to work. The only rule at Chexxxy's is you damn well better respect Clay Aiken. Simple. You don't respect him, your out. You call him a liar, your out. That's what all these detractors have in common. And that's why they are so pissed off at Chexxxy. She will not tolerate their antics. If feeling the same way makes me a follower tough. Get used to it, because the silent majority is tired of being silent, tired of the disrespect towards Clay and tired of the lies being spread around by a certain few. Wonderful blog, Truth. I'm so happy that we have Chexxy's. The time is nearing that we'll be done with the haters and opportunists. You,Chexxy, and all the others who have been fighting the good fight will know what a great job you've done. Won't it be FUN when we can once again enjoy our fandom without all the angst created by the haters and opportunists!
Great blog, Truth! Chexxxy's is a wonderful board where respect for Clay is paramount. I get so tired of the inuendo and agenda by those who 'pretend' to be fans and get so much enjoyment out of stiring the crap. Those that spew lies about Chexxxy's are the same ones spewing lies about Clay. Darn right, we know who they are.

I agree! I haven't been there (Chexxy's)in forever and have to visit today. I do love it there but just don't seem to get the time.

There are way too many non-fans that have been hanging around the message boards and causing nothing but disruption for years now. They say and do hurtful things under the heading of "free speech", but they are not fans.
They don't like Clay, they don't believe him, and think that those of us that do believe Clay are nuts. They repeat it like broken records.
Well I think they are nuts because I know if I didn't like someone, I certainly wouldn't waste my time following their every move or even paying to be on their fanclub just so I can throw my hate out there.
These people have gotten away with this for way too long, and because they have been allowed on ALL other message boards to continue their hateful ways, the fans that actually do believe in Clay and love being his fan, have moved elsewhere. If Chexxxy's has grown to over 700 members in this short of time, I would have to say that there is something definitely wrong and it's about time where the fans can come and see the truth about some that have hidden under the title of 'fan' and actually are not.

God forbid anyone should know there is actually a place where respect is the rule of the day. Where the 1% Clay spoke of are not welcome.

As a member of the silent majority I want to thank all the fans out there who have fought to keep the Clay fandom all about respect for Clay.
The 1% has become way too vocal in the past four years under the guise of free speech.
Chexxxy had nothing to do with the fanclub meltdown other than to be astute enough to see it coming.
I want to have fun again and take back my right to be a fan of Clay Aiken without being ridiculed.

Yeah, there's a dirtly little secret alright - and it's that certain agenda-driven 'fans,' with their crap-load of fan/slash/fic, fabrications, outright lies, and thinly veiled innuendo have been allowed to run amok and infiltrate the real fandom for far too long.
The OFC 'melt down' had nothing to do with Chexxy. The fans finally just got tired of Clay being battered and disrespected on his own fan board, and they finally got brave enough to voice their opinions.
Kudos to Chexxy, Truth Rules, Oh Crap, We Support Clay Aiken, and the others who have striven to counteract the lies and bashng of Clay.
Now that the 'dirty little secret' is out in the open, it seems like the dirty little roaches are scurrying to cover their sorry-assed butts.

It is funny how everyone is trying to make Chexxxy the scapegoat. Well, I guess it is a badge of honor if you can irritate the gnats, huh? You know, I have the urge to just "out with the truth," but I guess I will play nice today. One day, when they least expect it, the truth could just "appear" from nowhere, and really bite them. heh.

Only an idiot would believe that what is and has been said about Clay could be called "criticism".
"Dirt" is appropriate in the garden, but not on my living room carpet.
Elephants are fun at the zoo, but I don't appreciate one in my living room.
I enjoy having guests in my "home;" it can be lots of fun, but when visiting please leave the "dirt" in your garden and the elephants at the zoo.
I understand the anger and frustration of the last couple of posters here. I do want to keep specifics out of this blog so I'm holding your comments.
